The Arboretum offers a pleasant stroll or a study of the fabulous diversity in plants. It is a great place for weddings, meetings or memorial services and dedications. The Arboretum offers pre-arranged docent-led tours as well as naturalist / horticulturist-led tours throughout the year. A wide array of educational programs are also offered covering art, horticulture, gardening and wildlife.

The Arboretum is 165 hectares (408 acres) of spectacular green space, and has formal and natural gardens, 10 km of Nature Trails, 30 plant collections (approximately 1750 types of trees and shrubs), workshops (gardening, wildlife, plant identification etc.), and meeting, wedding and banquet facilities for 2-225 people. Open year round. Admission to the grounds is free.
