Honey Bee Research Centre

Honey Bee Research Centre
308 Stone Rd East

Guelph ON N1G 2W1

The honeybee research centre at the university of Guelph has been in place since 1894. Today, we still continue to have a passion for beekeeping, honeybee health, education and outreach. In addition to ongoing research, we provide many educational experiences for people of all ages. Our tours allow people to come and learn the job of a beekeeper, and the importance of honeybees and pollinators for our environment.

Drop-in tours will be offered on the first and third Wednesday of each month May through October at 10 am. These tours will last approximately one hour. Admission fee is $5 per person (only cash accepted).
