Guelph’s only exotic car show is back again for 2023. You are invited to attend this free public event rain or shine Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 12:00-4:00pm. It takes place every year, on the first Sunday in June downtown Guelph on Carden and MacDonnell streets. From sleek Lambourghini’s to elegant Ferrari’s, over 130 exotic cars will line the streets dazzling children and adults of all ages. This is the perfect road trip day for you and your family to visit Guelph. A short drive from surrounding areas including Halton, Hamilton and the Greater Toronto Area, this car show is a unique event you should plan to attend. There is ample parking in nearby parkades downtown, including the Wilson Street parkade adjacent to City Hall. Get your cameras ready to capture the smiles of folks of all ages as they see a truly unique gathering of cars for this one day. The show is a sight to behold with the beautiful vehicles, interesting and colourful wraps and show-stopping automotive designs.
This is the 5th Annual Downtown Guelph Exotic Car Show, hosted by Prince Adventures. Hosted in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph (BBBSG), a charity near to the organizers’ hearts. With the support of presenting sponsor Policaro Group, and other amazing business sponsors, this event seeks to raise over $50,000 in a single day for this awesome charity supporting over 700 youth in our community. Did you know that each and every car owner who showcases their fabulous vehicle also donates financially to the charity for this one day? Listen to the live DJ spinning on MacDonnell or the live musical performance of Canadian Idol Winner Brian Melo on Carden Street. Since the first show Prince Adventures has raised over $150,000 for BBBSG.
What can you expect? The cars are parked and the streets become a pedestrian walking district. As a family, enjoy strolling the historic city centre of Guelph where dozens of cafes, restaurants and shops may pique your interest. This event is leash-friendly so bring your furry pets. The road walkaways are wide, so it is accessible for all folks with mobility needs and strollers of all kinds. Why not grab lunch at Piatto Pizzeria + Enoteca, or shop from the boutique shops along Old Quebec Street. Pick up a new favourite book from one of Canada’s best independent bookstores, The Bookshelf. This summertime signature event is complimented well by Guelph’s Patio District, which is open all season long. Brothers Brewing is a go-to for locals looking for a nice craft beer and their awesome patio is adjacent the event. Make a day of it by arriving before the show starts to grab coffee on your way into the event from a nearby coffee shop such as The Common or Planet Bean. All these family owned and locally grown small businesses listed here, and plenty of others welcome your patronage on the day of the event. Numerous benches on Carden Street make for a great spot to sit and watch the world walk by, plenty of time for a pit stop if your feet are tired.
