Market Square is reimagined once again as Sparkle Square this winter! Cozy up to watch the skaters in the Muskoka chairs or get on the ice yourself while the snowflake lights fall down the side of City Hall for a ski resort vibe in the heart of downtown Guelph. Be sure to watch Guelph.ca for announcements on when the skating rink opens and ongoing season announcements. You can also check how busy the rink is with a live camera feed!
Guelph Farmers’ Market is bringing back a holiday night market on December 23rd from 3-8pm so that you can get your last minute gifts, groceries, and goodies from your favourite vendors. They’re still open every Saturday leading up to the holidays from 7a.m. to 12 p.m. but will be closed on Saturday December 25th and Saturday January 1st. They’ll be back in action on January 8th, 2022!
#GLOWguelph is lighting up the Covered Bridge between Royal City Park and York Road Park in holiday hues once again. It’s the perfect setting for your socially-distanced Hallmark movie moment this holiday season. The bridge lights up every night from dusk to 11pm.
