With the holidays behind us and the cold weather settling in for the next few months, we know that it can be hard to leave our cozy homes for outdoor adventures. But we’re here to help with a Ice Skating Bingo Card that will encourage families and friends to explore all the community rinks that Guelph has to offer!

About the Rinks
The community ice rink program is run by volunteer neighbourhood groups across Guelph who want to bring winter fun to their local parks. These rinks are unsupervised and are open as weather permits and upkeep to the rinks allows. For best results, use the rinks when its cold and the ice is crisp and shiny!
Each ice rink’s location and its open status can be found through the City of Guelph‘s website. Open rinks are green, cautiously open rinks are yellow, and closed rinks are red. The website is updated once weekly on Fridays so you can plan your weekend adventures with friends and family.
Ice Skating Bingo

Each of the community parks are listed on the Bingo card that you can download to your phone or print out for your family to cross off each rink you visit throughout the winter.
The extra special Market Square community rink is open every day between 10am and 8pm and turns into Sparkle Square during the winter, complete with Muskoka chairs to watch the skaters and falling snowflakes and a beautiful light show that comes alive at dusk. You can also check out how busy Sparkle Square is with the City’s live cam.
If you head to Sparkle Square or to any of the community rinks this winter, be sure to tag @VisitGuelph in your photos!
