From August 4 to 12, Guelph will be home to the World Dwarf Games 2017!
Up to 1,000 athletes, coaches, family members and supporters from over 20 countries will be at the University of Guelph in August. The games, exclusively for athletes with dwarfism, will be the largest ever.
Athletes of all ages and every level of ability will compete in sports like, basketball, soccer, track and field, volleyball, swimming, table tennis, badminton, floor hockey, boccia, archery, kurling, powerlifting and marksmanship.

Be a fan in the stands
Welcome the world at the Opening Ceremonies on August 4 at 7 p.m. and cheer on the athletes throughout the week as a fan in the stands. All events are non-ticketed and free to attend. View the full schedule on worlddwarfgames2017.org.

Throughout the games, the Visit Guelph team will be Welcoming the World and supporting the athletes, families and fans with their visitor needs. We’ll be onsite at the Guelph Gryphon Athletic Centre with our Tourism to Go welcome station, and will continue our support on social media and visitguelpwellington.ca.
